I'm not gonna lie, the Bush really needs some natural snow for the trees and the ungroomed no snowmaking Castlerock type of stuff. Lots of bare spots on the Mall, Paradise, etc., and some sheer ice between bumps on other stuff like Castlerock run. This 1 inch every night stuff just isn't getting the job done. We need a dump. Not that I'm getting my hopes up or anything.

DUDE WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS???

This is the one where the newspaper headline states "Surprise, freak storm thrashes Hub" on top of a large Snowbank. Were due for a pummeling. I say the blizzard of 78 is a proper comparision.

GOOD ONE....DO YOU WORK FOR FOX 5 IN NYC?

:D

I've seen everything from 4 inches in Dedham to a light coating. We'll know tomorrow night. I'm just glad it's not 40 and ncp.

Funny thing is that it looks like NO ONE is getting very much all across the country. 3 to 6 inch hits are about it for most of the resorts. I gave up with Tahoe which is having as bad a winter as we are. SLC, CO, and finaly Jackson, which I picked, are not having the greatest year. Alaska seems to be hogging most of it. thank God for snowguns!

I was right!, I was right, I was right

6-8 inches fell friday night up in Sunapee area. Skied both Sat and Sun. I used my flex card which enabled me to ski for $46 and then went for $29 on half day Sunday. So for $75 I skied two days at an average cost $37.50 a day. Combine this with a regular face value of $62 per day which multiplyed by two totals $124 thats a combined savings of $50. That $50 from a value comparision equals a pair of decent brand name running shoes or exactly a keg of beer.

So how were the conditions and crowds?

Conditions were "Top Five in the East"

Some Runs were crowded (Lower Skyway)(Chipmunk) but the entire area was covered in white plus the excellent Blue Skies made for maximum price/value.
