Just watching NECN and it looked like measurable snow could develope over the spine of the greens, the northern whites of NH, and portions fo the whites and longfellows in Maine? Any of you weather gurus have anything in regards to this?

I woke up at 5AM and there was snow on my car. It is gone and it is raining (kinda that almost snow type of rain...like there may be some frozen molecules in the drops). Likely there is coverage on the mountains.

We get a round of light to moderate precip this afternoon/tonight tapering off Sunday. Problem is that freezing levels jump up late today and tonight to just above summit level for N VT/NH/ME peaks. So summits only will pick up something out of this tonight (I'm adjusting forecasts right now). Thankfully, freezing levels drop back down Sunday so while it'll be more favorable for snow, much of the moisture will have already past.

Just got a call from friends over in Chelsea, going there this afternoon, to advise that it a blizzard is going on there now. Here in the MRV just rain in the valley but the higher elevations looks like it currently snowing. To get to Chelsea from here the shortest route is over 3 gaps, I think I'll go around.
