It's actually "Shoot or throw missile at law enforc./emerg. veh. w/o malice". It has a 1 year mandatory minimum sentence.

Some cop was being a real a-hole. This statute is clearly intended to be applied to people who shoot guns at cop cars. I know of a cop in my home town who had his house burned down for pulling stuff like that.

I can see there being a charge including the "without malice" if it interferes with the execution of duties, etc etc. But tossing snowballs at an unmarked car? Hardly think that's a hanging offense.

i did it too when i was younger, but if you think about it, throwing anything at a car, especially one in motion, has to potential to be a very bad scene...a few years back some kids in allentown were dropping chucks of ice and snow off an overpass at the cars below and killed some lady

..since when is throwing snowballs close to dropping ice chunks from overpasses..?
...However I guess I'm not surprised when a 12" snowfall is their normal "disaster".....LOL

your kid throws snowball at car...idiot driver panics and locks up, hits tree...then that idiot or their family owns your home and your kid possibly gets locked up...go for it!

i think back at a lot of the dumb $hit i did as a kid and then think about how lucky i am

And we wonder why kids prefer to just sit in front of TVs playing video games.
