I'm bagging Thanksgiving to get my first 2008-09 turns at Hunter. Anyone else going to be there?

Went there today. Too lazy to do a TR.

It. Rocked. Conditions solid on open trails. Best conditions were on Hellgate. Firm but quite carveable. Fluff to be had, if you looked for it, on the sides of most trails today. Racer's Edge was my least favorite; that one more frozen/choppy than I'd have liked given the skis I was running. Conditions in the blacks apart from the fluff ranged from firm to very firm to barely carveable. Bring your race sticks.

Fantastic for early season. Temps in low 30's. Little wind for the North East. Snowed a little, all afternoon. Not much new accumulation from what I could tell.

No visible ice. Weeds peeking out in the margins but only in a few spots. Greens and blues in very good condition. More ways down, and more interesting ways at that, than Okemo had this past Sunday.

Bag the turkey and go and you will not regret it.
