I thought that system at Tenney was a shaved ice product.This specifically says its not shaved ice."The snow-making systems developed by TechnoAlpin do not produce crushed ice but rather soft and fluffy snow. This is what triggers positive associations".

This may work as boreal sits pretty high and summer temps for the most part are much cooler.

And it's quite small at only 500 vertical. This could definitely work well to keep the park open. Not a lot of terrain to cover, and if I recall correctly, it usually makes it into summer as is in non drought years.

It very well might have been. I can't remember. I just saw this and it was the first thing that popped into my mind. No doubt the technology is similar but probably more advanced as you've suggested.
