So... anybody here have a PS3 or Xbox and play any games during downtime?

I used to play the PS3 fairly regularly. My wife loves Rock Band. .. we also sold our Wii around Christmastime and replaced with that XBox Kinect thing which has a pretty wild Dance Central game. Yes, I look like a total toolbag dancing, but it's fun anyway 8)

It's a nice couch potato activity every so often.

Wii here, and I probably have almost every winter sports game for it. This will be my first summer with it. I'm thinking about borrowing a portable air-conditioner from work on a hot summer day, turning it to max cool and putting my snowpants/jacket/helmet on and getting really small for a "day on the slopes".

Seems like my best option since Xanadu isn't open.

I am not much of a gamer anymore BUT the GF did get me Call of Duty for Christmas. I play it fairly regularly on PS3 when I have a few minutes. It's great cause I don't have to invest much time and I feel like I can just end the game when time's up.

Haven't played since October. Seems to happen every year. Strange.

Working on Halo Reach, Mass Effect, and Forza 3. Takes me a while, but cuts down on costs.

I've been playing COD on and off> I went through a phase where I was really playing a lot, but the last few weeks it's only been on intermittently. I do enjoy it now and again to just disconnect.

Xbox360 - mainly driving games - Dirt, Dirt2, Forza 3. Can't wait for Dirt 3. Dirt got me interested enough in rally that I took my family up to Sunday River last summer to see the New England Forest Rally. We had a blast. The kids got to meet Travis Pastrana and Ken Block.

that's awesome. I played Dirt 2 on the PS3 for a whiel but it got pretty difficult. I've also been on / off playing Gran Turismo 5. I remember in College playing GT3 non-stop for days.

Many hours were spent in GT1-3 in college and gradschool. I still have my wheel which significantly improves the gameplay. I never got online with it but I hear GT5 is fun against live competition.

I have the Wii plus every system Nintendo made, except the Virtual Boy. I just got a 3DS, pretty cool. I also have a Sega Genesis and a ColecoVision. I never get rid of any videogame hardware of software, I'm a collector. My son is set with videogames because of me, and my 2 year old daughter already tries to play.

I've heard you can get headaches from the 3DS, I haven't actually seen one in person but it seems pretty neat.
