Ran into a tent Sale at the River over the Weekend. Could use some feed back I trusted the sales person and took advantage a of a few deals. Any feed back would be great.

I got a year old elan slx pro fusion skis with the v 9 binding.Ii wanted a shorter radius turing ski,

Wife fisher vapor smart style wth v9 bindings and nordica velvet ace boots.

Daughter Elan speed wave 12.

Everything except the boots were left overs.

Anyone have this gear?

Looks like you went to Jack Frost. The Fischer Vapor is a solid ladies ski...76mm waist, woodcore, good all mtn ski for the river, the wife should be happy. happy wife=happy life

Love all my elans fwiw. Finally moving on from the atomic Sx(I forget exactly... just remember youhad three vintages of that ski). If they're from the Slovenian factory the quality is good.

Roark I still use two pair of sx11's. I also have a pair of dynastar legends that are wider and a bit better in the woods and deeper snow. Still like a tight radius turning ski.
Roark thank you for the info.

I buy at least two pairs of skis/boards for the family every year. Never this years. My Quiver has 4 pairs I will ski on this year. The oldest pair of sx11 were mounted on a buddies wall. Next sx 11's in line are ready for turns hopefully this month.

Eastcoast,.. a good source indeed. Thanks, and your are correct. I bought the boots because the service and deals were so good. We went in looking for a coat for my daughter and maybe a new ski for her.

I usually buy everything at ski fanatics in Campton, but I could not refurse the deals. They cut me a deal for buying multiple things, even off sale price. Fred was good to us. I made 3 sperate transactions, ie credit card swipes. :spin:

heh, just noticed the wife's gear - got my wife the vision vapors before last season - she hasn't touched her prior pair since.

funny thing with bob - makes a lot of turns freeskiing, not usually the fastest in the group. Put some gates in front of him and becomes a freaking jackrabbit! Cleanest carver I've seen.

I am bad at this, just looked. I got Roxy skiis for my daughter. Never even heard of them. Fred said his daughter skied on then. If the owner has his kids on them, thats usually a good sign.

I have some more reading to do.

Ga2ski prefer to say a guy who can't ski anything but a groomer, I just make more turns than most, all in perception.

Nice words apprecaited.
