I was going to pay to play Sunday at K which is my only day off in the next week, but of course in this 10+ day stretch of good wintry weather Sunday is the only day with a cutting system bringing rain and ice for a brief period. Sunday River may fare slightly better but that's a long ride for midstation skiing. Might just skip this week. Then by next week I won't worry about having to buy a day ticket and pick whoever has better open terrain out of Okemo and Mt Snow. Or if this insane early season upslope run continues, maybe Stowe or Jay will be worth trekking to next Sunday.

Seems like that they are getting aggressive again with snowmaking and opening. What are they opening? The BEQ II?
No seems like they are sticking with the Zypher with Range view, pretty much their typical first day. the new lift should be nice tho once it opens

That's a pretty decent offering. That side is a nice long run. Almost a mile or so long IIRC.

i would have to travel way to far, like 5 hrs or so to ski limited terrain, on what one can only assume will be "very popular" slopes. jealous of those that can swing in somewhere first thing and make some turns.

Any other year I would have skied this weekend. This year we just closed on the house yesterday and I am waking up on an Airbed in the Hudson valley. A lil busy. I expect to get on the slopes next sat or sun tho! Happy ski season all
