SR Ski Patrol First in East to consider Unionizing

Given the timing of the vote and if ratified, initial bargaining, this could line them up like PCMR this year for next holiday season.

Wondering if this has anything to do with the White Heat chair not running on Sunday. Must admit that made the hike over there even more worth it for late day powder runs.

As a SR patroller for 25 years, we brought that up when all our bene's and comps got cut after Boyne and Dana B took over in 2008

A free pass for 300+ hours worked. Works out to about $3/hour for a 10 hour day

Seriously doubt it was a patrol issue. Probably mechanical or if there was any wind, WH is often one of the first to go down due to its open exposure at the top.
