SR this week

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone had heard about Sunday River opening during the week this week? Originally, I had read that they were trying to get regular hours started ASAP but their website says they are closed Mon - Thursday this week. Was hoping to get up there and make a few turns Wednesday since I don't have to teach.

rumors/goals I heard was Friday with Barker running. Trying to open for the season. I think it depends if they can get snow to stay below Tourist trap. Rocking chair and above have been okay, below has been a fight.

Snowmaking windows are limited this week, but may exist.

At snow-forecast.com, temps look incredibly s***ty at 2000ft all week, the lowest it's going is 28-30F on one or two nights....seems like they may have trouble even keeping the snow they have down low.

I know it's not what you asked for, but somehow Killington is opening for Veteran's day. Probably a bit far for you though...

Any ski area opening for people to ski or ride is great at any time! Good for K-Ton for getting it done.
