This summer has been insanely hectic and busy. Besides slacking off on the AZ challenge (starting this week, finally!) my two kids have kept me occupied along with work.

But yesterday afternoon it was cooling down a bit outside and I had my first inkling of getting excited about the upcoming season. Small, but distinct. I was looking outside and blam I imagined myself floating over some powder.

Can't wait!

This is the first year I been pushing my self to outside a lot in the off season(summer). Been biking and hiking a lot (being unemployed gives me a lot of time) I be happy for ski season to start but I am happy I still have a few months of other outside enjoyment.

Missing last season due to health issues, I am really looking forward to this upcoming season. I am feeling well enough to take a chance on rejoining my ski house and buying a seasons pass. I am going to do my best to keep getting healthier and getting back in shape. Skiing again will help to give me joy.

Already have 2 trips planned. Girlfriend and I are house/dog sitting between Christmas and New Years up in Lake Sunape and we are Going to Telluride in Feb with my ski club. Been riding the bike both trails and roads and am in good shape for the upcoming season.

I've noticed more than one morning with with a fall cloud pattern. (Low lying clouds in the valleys that the sun eventually burns off.)

Pic isn't loading, but I'm going to assume it's a pile of cocaine.

Pumped for skiing but, if every summer were like this one I wouldn't be so eager to get it over with.

I've lived in NH since 2001 and, weather-wise, this is the nicest summer I can remember. I'm not certain we've hit triple digits.

I highly doubt you have since we haven't even come close to triple digits here in NJ. Only broken 90 2-3 times.
