For all you diehard_wackos(lol) you can get two experiences for the price of three. The hike up and down(#1), have a healthy amount of iron extracted by the spring hatch of blackflies(#2)...**But hey, they're not really "Horrendous", just your normal healthy early June level**, and (#3)...there looks to be ~3 short patches wtih one lengthy but narrow chute on backside of Knife's...
1. The east end
2. Bear Brook...a nice paddle, but headnets are mandatory...:roll:

All in all a beautiful day(Thursday)...
Think we'll be climbing Big Spencer Mtn.(up to former fire tower and up to summit) in a few weeks...will document for a great hike by others..
