Not so sure I have much love for Canada geese anymore. They used to migrate by the hundreds, taking an overnighter in the cornfields south of Lake Ontario for the night. Up at dawn and down the pike to the next rest stop. What's different today is that many of them don't migrate any more. :uzi: Many of the parks and playing fields around here are absolutely disgustingly filled with geese poop.
My daughter was playing soccer one day after school, about 4:30 pm on a chilly fall day. All of a sudden this dark cloud appeared over the horizon, Then the noise. They set their landing gear onto the playing field as the players ran for the sides. No joke there was 2-300 of the suckers. Well, there was a lot of staring going on, with neither side not knowing what to do. I'm not interested in playing with 200 snapping geese. This went on for about five minutes. The geese departed and I pulled out my umbrella just in time. The game resumed but the field was so disgusting that the kids made sure they didn't fall!
