Skied sugarbush today...Started the day off at Lincoln peak and skied Birch Run...Coming over the first drop, I hit a large patch of ice and took a big spill. Other than that, the run was a decent groomer. I then headed over to Castlerock, I skied middle earth and Castlerock Run. Both were pretty thin and not worth a repeat..Probably helped by my sub-par skiing. I then skied paradise which was also pretty beat. After lunch, I headed over to mount ellen and skied most of the ungroomed stuff there...Much of it was extremely thin with the exceptions of lower FIS, Bravo, Encore, and Looking Good. I ended the day skiing a few runs on Morning Star..This trail skied great and I wish I had found it earlier. All in all, it was a fun day but they could really use a big storm...Hopefully the storm on Wednesday delivers. :spread:

yeah, I was there too. skied pretty much natural trails and found the snow in the troughs to be lacking. Took a big shot on my right skis base - a real ouch! Best wipe out in years. They need snow. Found the man-made trails to be icy. Note: I did not have sharp edge. Worse run of the day was Upper FIS. I fell three times - literally skis just slipped from underneath me. It's good to get to a place like sugarbush and ski the castlerock and mount ellen all day - humbles you. btw: thought exterminator skied well for a man-made trail. others I rode the lift had same observation/complaints.
