Date(s) Skied: Friday, April 2, 2010
Ski Area: Sugarbush, Lincoln Peak
Conditions: Spring snow with mid summer temps, blue skies, cold beer
Trip Report: Drove up from MA and got on the mountain about 11 AM. First run was on a very soft Birdland to Lower Organgrinder. There was still very good coverage but a few thin spots. Steins was groomed on Thursday night so went right to it on the next run. Lots of fun on Steins on Friday. Early in the day was groomed with bumps forming and the snow was soft. With every turn you left a wake in the snow. Spring Fling was still in very good shape. Best runs of the day were on the upper mountain – Ripcord, Spillsville, Organgrinder. Skied until 3:15 then enjoyed a cold Switchback with friends. It was 76 degrees at the base.
Couple of lame pics from my Blackberry:
