JJ is one of the great guys on our team. This was not one of his best posts, and I told him so. In no way did he mean to offend anyone, and we both apoligize for offending anyone. In his enthusiam for our great conditions, he was trying to personalize his own feeling about the tough start to the season and the incredible skiing and riding that we are now experiencing. Cut him some slack! He is a great guy, a committed employee and has done a very good job for us, and he did not intend to offend anyone. We all make mistakes and are better people because of them.

PS: It does look like the snow is coming and it should be a great weekend!

Ok I am coming out right now and saying " I ENJOYED reading it" and can't say anymore than that because it would get way to political in nature. JJ feel free to email or PM me anytime and share your past experiences with me. It was like some one sharing a story with me while having a beer together. It made me feel like a friend.

You need to take off the panties. Seriously.

It may have been verbose and rambling, but offensive? Wow. Talk about thin skin.

A Priest, a Rabbi and a Minister walk into a bar. The Bartender looks up an says ... "What, Is this some kind of a joke?"
That's a religous joke, even if it is lame. Demonizing a religion is not funny, and a communications manager should have known better.

The sad thing is that some people found it easier to attack the person who called them on it. My USMC panties will stay on, thank you very much.

I had been looking forward to Sugarbush, and while I appreciate Win's sincere response, the bloom is off the rose for me.

I think, at this point, the issue was raised, and the owner of SB responded and apologized. Regardless of what folks think of the original complaint, it has been resolved. I think we can all move on.

And there is 10-16 inches of snow on the way

The perfect ending to this thread methinks

Your veteran status doesn't make you immune from having overly thin skin or a persecution complex. This is the kind of garbage that is wrong with this country. Someone says something that pushes no boundaries and tries to poke fun at himself as much as anything, and some wahoo pipes up declaring how offended he is. Presto - we continue to move to the lowest common denominator in our public discourse. Perhaps you should spend your skiing dollars at the likes of Okemo and Stratton where the on-snow experience is just about as sanitized and homogenized as the world you'd prefer to live in.

Edit: Sorry mods - sometimes I can't help myself. That was my last comment on the issue - I'm focused purely on the impending storm and all the elbow room I'll have to enjoy it.

OK, I think we are done here.

The issue was raised. Some agree, some don't.

The owner/manager replied personally and has resolved the issue.

No need to continue with the antagonism on either side.

There is nothing more to say other than go skiing/riding. Let's move on.
