hey everyone... i'm looking for some advice on a good backcountry hike to hit one or more waterfalls somewhere within a 3 hour drive of boston and within a 10-15 mile roundtrip hike... we plan on camping out in the backcountry too... no campgrounds please... there will be 4 of us and it'll most likely be the weekend of july 13th... we're two late 20's married couples with backcountry experience looking to get away from the city...

thanks so much for the suggestions... your input is appreciated...

In MA, Race Brook Falls, it's just a 4 mile Round trip so it's pretty busy, Sages Ravine on the CT MA border. not quite as busy.

There is a set of Cascades you have to bushwhack to off Gale River but in dry weather, the flow is allegedly pretty meager. The Gorge off the Ammo trail is nice but limited camping unless you drop back down on the other side.
