Yet another Sunday River report:
Good day on Friday. Temps in the 20's, some gusty wind, generally nice leftover snow from the storm.
Some of the trails were wind scoured down to icy stuff in spots, but not too bad. Loose snow could be found here and there as not all trails were groomed, especially under the lifts. Trees looked pretty good, but I didn't try them.
Crowds seemed kind of fickle. Some lifts were slammed with people (Barker/North Peak), while others were deserted.
Some of the lifts were on wind hold early in the morning, and Jordan most of the day, but it finally opened up a couple hours before closing for some very fun runs.
I wouldn't usually go skiing during Christmas vacation, but the storm seemed too good to pass up.
