So which ads did you like? Which ones did you not?

I liked the Career Builder Ads (the office gladiator was great).

The Revlon Ad....wtf?

I was also  to see that GM ran an ad that featured a robot "dreaming" of being laid off from a GM plant and then it committed suicide. After the bad car business and talk of lay offs and plant closures, this one I thought probably hit too close to home for real people....especially those workers who are about to lose their jobs and who were probably watching. Kind of dumb IMHO to run such an ad.

The Robert Goulet ad for Empire Nuts...a classic. We were laughing so hard.

The token pharmaceutical ad (Flomax) left us ROFLOAO! I mean really....

I have a tiny bit more respect for Kevin Federline after his commercial spot.

Flomax commercials have been amongst my favorites since they started airing on TV. I love the forced male bonding that is borderline questionable male bonding.

I found it disturbing on a few levels... But at least I know who the guy is now..

I liked the guy who picked up the hitchhiker with the axe because he had Bud Light.. "Whats the axe for"? "ummmmm bottle opener" "cool, hop in."

Then the guy with the axe was wary of the guy with the chainsaw. I liked that one too.

Mostly meh, I liked the rock, paper, scissors and the snickers one. And yea, that one about the machine being laid off was pretty ignorant of all the workers who've lost jobs at GM over the past few years.
Thankfully, I drive a Subaru! :D

The careerbuilders were all good. Especially for anyone who works in that cubicle environment... Goes for reviews.. etc..

No other comments???!!

Honestly, TB, I think that this year was pretty weak. Aside from some that have been mentioned, there really weren't any that stick right out. Maybe the bar was set too high a few years ago when it seemed there were a few truely exceptional commercials.
