HUNTER, New York — Hunter Mountain and the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival are excited to tap into the tastes of New York's best craft beers this year at the 9th Annual TAPsm New York Festival April 29-30th, 2006. Guests will marvel in a world of specialty-handcrafted brews, unique cuisine to complement, and weekend-long brewing and culinary demonstrations presented at this exceptional collaboration boasting the best of the best in New York State.
As New York's premier craft beer festival, TAPsm New York presents the best brews from over 32 New York State Breweries, together presenting over 100 unique brews to sample. This year, TAP New York will pair the best beers with "the All-American Hotdog", as Hunter's teams of formally trained chefs prepare one of America's favorite foods in dozens of different ways. From spicy Thai dogs to Dutch dogs, to Milwaukee and Chicago dogs, to BBQ dogs, TAP will put the hot dog front and center for the weekend.
Beers showcased at this year's TAP Festival will offer great tastes to please every kind of beer lover too- whether a seasoned pro or a newcomer to the microbrew scene-TAP aims to please every taste and preference. From pale ales and pilseners, to weisbiers, porters, stouts and scotch ales, hearty Bohemian and Bavarian style lagers to glorious Belgian style ales, a TAPsm ticket is a passport to a weekend's worth of brew sampling from New York's best breweries.
TAPsm Tickets are $40 when purchased online through April 28, 2006, and $45 at the door. Designated Driver tickets are $20.
