What is disturbing is the absolute media circus that is surrounding the sad public demise of a human being .
Mr Sheen is a fine actor with noteworthy accomplishments but this spectacle is not only tragic and perhaps fatalistic for him but more importantly will reflect upon and perhaps do damage to his children .

Major League Baseball adds Charlie Sheen to the banned substance list.

"Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig announced today that actor Charlie Sheen is now among the list of banned substances under the league’s drug testing program.
“Charlie Sheen is among the most powerful narcotics in the world,” said Selig. “Just being in the same room with him can have powerful effects on a person’s body and mental state.”
Selig said baseball has not yet developed a test for Sheen, but that a player will be fined and suspended for Charlie Sheen “if he is acting insane like Charlie Sheen. I don’t think we need to over-think it.”
The actor has long been a baseball fan and is known to drop by MLB clubhouses to meet the players or participate in batting practice. But any future appearance by Sheen in a major league facility will cause the entire team to get suspended for Sheen — which results in a season-long ban.
Per the terms of baseball’s collective bargaining agreement, changes to the drug policy must be approved by the players’ union, but MLBPA chief Michael Weiner said the union will accept the change.
“I don’t think we want the public to think we are soft on Sheen,” said Weiner. “I don’t know a single player who has even tried Sheen. It’s suicide.”

I think the media has blown this entire thing up. Basically the only thing the guy did was publicly voice some harsh words about the producer of the show that he has been associated with for almost a decade.
That's it..that's all he did. (this time).
(I don't think its anyone else's business to determine how he should live his life...if he wants to have his "goddesses" ...all the power to him. Personally, I don't think its the best thing for bringing up 2 young children...I certainly dont' choose to bring up mine that way...However, he has (I think) joint custody. His wife has apparently brought on somekind of Temporary Restraining Order pending a hearing....I am quite curious to see the result of the Court hearing regarding the custody of his children....But...I don't recall his ex, the mother of his children, ever alleging that he has in any way, shape or form hurt or otherwise endangered his children...so as I said, I am curious to see the result of the upcoming hearing..whether they get a court appointed psychologist to watch them in his home etc...? ).
I also think that much of the hoopla has to do with the fact that most people don't speak their minds like he did ....and that takes a lot of balls...but hey, he's made about $100 million the last few years on that show...that may make your balls bigger...if nothing else, it's obviously gone to his head.
