Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Wilmington store (it's a tax holiday, too!), and next weekend at the Reading, NH store (where its a tax holiday every day!).

Last year was pretty amazing- tons of stuff, reps from every manufacturer, and good deals. I got a $250 HellyTech jacket for $25, a $300 Obermeyer coat for $50, and my wife has more ski pants than any 10 women need. They're saying all 2005 equipment and clothes at least 50% off.

Great store, excellent personnel.

Passing by there a few years ago and stopped in to see what they had. It was a couple weeks before the same type of sale (which I did not know), the sales guy talked to me about almost eveery ski in the place and when he had me hooked he then told nme to come back when the sale started. That's pretty cool in my opinion...

Ski Haus says hours are 10-9 Friday and Saturday, 10-6 Sunday. Full on tent sale, like they've done in the past. That means it'll be pretty big.

Just bought Head i.M-75 Monsters with bindings for $500. Pretty happy with that.

Funny story- when checking out, I asked teh guy when they'd have the shop open to mount the bindings. With a sigh, he said "Early October, but it doesn't matter, you can't ski until November, anyway." I'm going to Montana next weekend, and there's still snow in the high passes. I told him so, and his face showed a mixture of excitement, jealousy, and dissapointment- "You going to ski it?"

Unfortunately, I don't think so.

They had the Legends for $399, I think. They'll have them next weekend at the NH store, I'm sure. I think they had 5-6 pairs.

Yeah, kind of odd not doing the mounting, but they Wilmington store's pretty much empty, shut down for the summer. They're going to be doing another big sale first week of October, and they'll e open for mountings and tunings then.

thanks for the heads up. i am likely heading back down to MA next weekend any ways... might give em' a call to find out what sizes they have. not sure if i want to sink $400 into a backup ski though. the GF still needs pants, gloves, and a hat for her first season on skis :D so it might be worth it for that alone. though i have a bad feeling if i see the skis, i will definitely buy them

last year's sale when they opened the new building in salem was incredible. i got a new jacket and gloves from spyder for under $300

My wife got a Spyder jacket for $50, and yet another pair of pants (Obermeyer, I think) for $40. It'll definately be worth it to outfit your GF. You'll be able to get her all set up for under $200, if you do it right.
Socks and gloves were 20% off
Base layers were about $15 (all sorts)
Fleece was running about $25 (all 50% off)
Pants and jackets ranged from $30 to $70
No good goggles- really only 2 styles from Scott, both $20, both pretty plain and ugly
I didn't look at the boots this year, but last year there were some amazing deals (I got Soloman X-Wave 8's for $150)

Go early. That's my only advice.
