The question is do you want all that speed in LF at Fenway? The short wall diminishes one of his strengths.

It would be better at Fenway if his natural position was Right Field. You'll get no argument from me there.

I don't really look at it like that though. For me it's simply, do you want Carl Crawford on your team or do you not. Pretty easy answer.

Also in the ESPN article about the Yank's reaction to the Lee signing, one of the best quotes I've seen in a while:

"'Obviously it would help if Pettitte came back,' the source said. 'But it wouldn't do any good to Brett Favre his ass and drag him back if he really doesn't want to play.'"

lee was smart signing with philly, now he can pitch against national league hitters and keep his era down.
