I was just looking through the trail reports trying to find out how the Southwestern MA mountains were skiing. It is, of course, a long weekend coming up and I would like to get out a few times. Sundown? Of course. At least once. But what about some other close places? Are they in good shape? Anyone on the mountain? Hello Butternut skiers? Catamount? Jiminy? Post some trail reports! I would love to get a feel for the conditions out there! ;-)

Berkshire East gets a lot of love here when it snows. Hawkshot works at Jiminy.

I was up at the BEast on Sunday. Rained in the AM and full on sunshine in the PM. Conditions were decent. With the cold over the last couple of days they'll be working around the clock to expand terrain, but for now there's the usual early season trails open (website has them listed accurately for once). Not sure how other places are skiing.
