It was a good decade. Hopefully they won't sink too low before they can rebuild. Celtics are doing pretty good ...

1st 1/2 today totally sucked! All day it looked like Moss still was pissed about being reprimanded by Belicheck for showing up late, and frankly given that, maybe Moss shouldn't have dressed instead of Adelius Thomas (at least i'm guessing he'd have been pissed enough to play with a chip on his shoulder!)

The best glimmer I saw today was the 7+ minute, 96 yards scoring drive the pats went on mid 3rd quarter. That was the most aggressive offensive play calling I've seen from them in a good 4 or 5 weeks, and Welker was a monster on that drive. gave us Pats fans a glimmer of hope, plus they actually had something of a pass rush today (even after Wilfork got injured),

Gotta see if some of the team that played in the 2nd half will show up in Buffalo next week. The defensive still needs a bunch of work, but the offense at least looked way better than it has in the last few weeks

While not what they were in 2007 regarding mystique; I'm sure most opposing coaches don't take them lightly knowing they are facing one of the best QBs ever and probably the best WR in the league right now in Welker.

Ten years is about the max for sustained greatness in the NFL. Cowboys of the 90s, 49ers of the 80s, Steelers of the 70s. Depending on who they put around him, the Falcons have a shot at being that next great team with Matt Ryan.

At least they've still got a shot at the play-offs. The Pats offensive coordinator is killing them this year while learning on the job. Basically the same personnel as 07, but the play calling isn't fooling anyone. Might have been a different story this year if McDaniels’ was still calling the plays! At least the Pats aren't faced with purging their coaching staff after loosing five in a row and possibly imploding!
