KILLINGTON, Vermont -- The 7th Annual Presidents Rail Jam returns to Killington Resort's Bear Mountain in the Outer Limits Rail Park on February 15 with $1000 purse and prizes to top skiers and riders.

The competition, beginning at 10 am, will feature an open jam on three rails for 30 minutes. The top three skiers and riders from each session will compete in a one trick showdown judged by the competitors. The best trick for each will walk away with the cash prize, plus all competitors are invited to the Pizza Jerk pizza party in the lodge where awards and prizes will be given away. Two qualifiers will be awarded a bid to compete in the 2009 Great Northwest Gromfest at Whistler, British Columbia in July. Check out www.gromfest.org for more details.

Registration is limited to 100 competitors. Online registration is $20 and opens February 2 at 5 pm, closing at 11:59 pm on Friday, February 12. Day of event registration, if available is $25 and will take place at the Bear Mountain Lodge. All competitors must have a valid lift ticket or season pass for the day and will be required to sign an Express Assumption of Risk and Forum Selection Agreement (EAR). Those under 18 years of age will be required to have a parent or legal guardian sign the EAR with them.
