I know we have a thread on her, but the search feature is not working and I am not going to wade through hundreds of posts....

Apparently, Lindsey is returning to racing after a successful knee surgery.

Wow,... Would love to see her at Killington, but sounds like she will not be competing until December. Will be interesting to see how she does.

Guessing she's going to limit her racing to select speed events as was her main objective the last few years she was racing prior to this. Granted it was in her more injury prone era, but if I recall correctly, during the early years of the Worldcup races at Killington, she never pushed out of the start house for one of the GS's, and it's been a long time, short of the combined events in the World Championships or the Olympics that she's put on the short skis and body armor and slapped some slalom gates

I heard this about a month ago; guess the rumor's true.

I wish her the best, but my guess is she doesn't last the season and that it doesnt go all that well.

Yup, one of my good friends, who is a big Whig at UBS, and a level 3 PSIA guy plus having multiple racing kids, went to the US ski team ball/fundraiser in Nashville about a month ago, and when a bunch of my friend circle started busting his chops about stuff that night, his reply about Lindsey (who wasn't there that night) was after my friend said he was talking with Johnny Mosely about US skiing, was "she's on the team and skiing at world class levels"
