Is there another kind of snowbike because im confused as to how you would even get a snowbike in and out of that location
So I guess that a snowmobile was somehow involved. Either he was doing laps and using the snowmobile to get up, or he rode it in with the bike.

Yeah thats what I figured but the incident doesn’t mention another person being there so I don’t understand how he could be doing laps alone. Guess it doesnt really matter and RIP to the guy I just found it odd

Things seem to be getting better as I prepare to head out for March next week View attachment 68091

Son says its skiing ok. Lots of "broccoli" on several runs but definitely skiable. Higher elevations are an advantage.
Exactly. We seem to be in a periodic precip mode in UT, rather than the extended high pressure fair and dry pattern. Except our precip events have been very warm. The elevations in CO should help keep things snowy with no/minimal niar.

The problem is, Colorado has had even less snow than we have, which is really saying something. Breckenridge is about as "high elevation" as it gets, but they've only got about 100 inches of snow this season.

Reports I'm hearing are not good. Planned on going back to Colorado for a week this season, but unless there's a dramatic change in the next few weeks we're probably going to bag it.
