Better than the violence depicted on some ski equipment.

Honestly... it's not like they're full-on naked. It wouldn't be my choice, but I don't see it as being all that harmful either. Yes, I have young children, and no, I wouldn't mind if they saw them. I'm trying very hard to teach my kids that bodies are beautiful, of all shapes and sizes, and there is no shame in that. I am, however, perturbed by how much ski equipment have violent scenes on them. Yet that's considered "acceptable."

Saw one last year at WF while riding the gondi---I laughed then asked the kid how he got a picture of my sister on his board---took him a minute but he laughed too---you know those knuckle draggers are a bit slow:cool:

Forget about seeing the boards on the hill. How about the girls on the boards on the hill.

My first pair of 4frnt's had an image outline of a tenth mountain division soldier touring with a rifle. Lot's of people took that the wrong way and thought they were super gangsta or somthing lol....

I certainly wouldn't mind looking down while riding a lift and seeing Cheryl Bachman. Doubtful many ski areas would bother taking action against these types of boards but who knows which parental units will complain and then a resort will need to implement a ban for fear of upsetting its guests and losing money. Hard to take gear seriously that looks like that, though. I know nothing about snowboard gear but I wouldn't even consider a pair of skis with that type of graphic under the assumption that it isn't something that should be taken seriously. I don't really see a lot of violent depictions on gear. There is the whole whigger-wannabe-cutting edge-look-at-my-gangsta-esque-faux retro-graffiti-graphics thing going on. But meh, that isn't violence... that is cultural identity crisis. Ski logos with cross hairs and pretending to throw a gangsta sign and looking like a tool.... that shit makes me laugh. I have a hard time seeing things that make me laugh having anything to do with violence. Just my take though.

I don't really see what the big deal is. They don't really show that much. I love how the pictures on the CNN report had sections blurred out, there was nothing to blur. I think they did that just to make it look worse than it is.
