Hi,
I was thinking about heading to Hunter tomorrow. My wife was nice enough to get me a lift ticket for Xmas & this would be my first trip of the season. I know they got some snow the other day & I am trying to figure if it became an icy mess.
I live about 1.5 hours away & the snow became slush which is now just sheets of ice in Westchester NY.
I looked at the conditions & cant tell if the mountain is a sheet of ice:
That sort of sounds like Ice to me. Any ideas if its worth it to head on over or is it ice skating instead of skiing?
Thanks,
Rich

SURFACE CONDITIONS
PRIMARY SURFACE: Loose Granular, Frozen Granular
SECONDARY SURFACE: Packed Powder, Hard Packed
