I don't know if any of you remember the now defunct Gregorio's ski shop that was on East Main Street in Torrington. That portion of the business was closed a couple years ago when they relocated the other part of the business (pools & spas). I noticed in The Foothills Trader that they're doing a ski final sale this weekend for (what I assume is) leftover stock (it's stated that it's from a bankrupt ski shop). The sale is:
Friday Sept 12th 12-6
Saturday Sept 13th 9-5
Sunday Sept 14th 10-2
At 379 Goshen Rd (Rt 4 heading toward Goshen), Torrington, CT.
It might be worth checking out. New skis from $99, new boards w/bindings from $179, board boots, ski blades $89, helmets $39-$59, used equipment, snowshoes, jackets, etc.
Granted, the equipment may be a couple years old, but depending on what they have, that may not matter. I plan on at least taking a look.
