Drove up to Burke earlier today. Can't believe the amount of snow loss from last weekend. Cannon still has good coverage. Burke has good coverage on most of their trails. This is the weekend to ski. sunny and 60's. I think a lot of areas will close after this weekend and those still open will be limited. So get out and ski.

Yeah, definitely get out and enjoy this weekend as this coming week is obviously going to be devastating for conditions.

Unreal. One of my "planned" ski weekends this year was March 23 - 25 in Vermont. I never would have believed there'd be so little snow. The smart play would be to hit Jay, but I still have some Smuggs vouchers, at this point I'm hoping it just doesnt suck by March 23!

I'll be at Magic this weekend for some clsong runs and then not sure about next week. I was originally thinking of coming back up and doing a day trip from the condo to Mt Ellen but I'm not sure if that will be worth it next weekend.

Will be skiing every available minute Sat and Sun and then packing it all up for the year. Most bittersweet Friday-before-ski-weekend so far, but can't wait to hit it in the morning.

My plans are to ski Plattekill tomorrow, Elk Sunday. After that who knows? I'm off the last week of March, I too thought I'd be making some turns somewhere, now I don't know. Maybe I should hit the AZ summit. Don't know if that'll be worth the nine hour drive. Scotty, do you know if they close Blockbuster for the mogul comp.

I took the day off and skied Greek Peak yesterday, it looked pretty bad from the base, but it skied great. There may have been twenty people there, maybe. Kudos to Greek for staying open, I'm sure they were loosing money.

Odyssey is still covered quite nicely.

I'll be at Plattekill tomorrow as well. I've got a couple passes to burn and this looks like it (might have to go Sunday as well). Probably hang out more than ski anyway. Hope blockbuster isn't closed all day as there isn't much else left.

On a side note:
Hunter skied excellent Thursday and should be great this weekend, but is getting thin in stops. Top of Racers and Clairs both have some serious problem areas.

I hope this weekend isn't our last...but it's going to warm up next week. I hope to pull off one more weekend after this one. A few weeks ago, I was bummed to hear the mountain was closing April 8th. Now it looks like making it to the end of March will be a stretch goal. Stupid weather.

I don't know, but snow conditions I really do not think that Platty will have much of base after this week unfortunately, but Mr Harvey might know more information.
