That’s a hilarious show. It’s probably my wife’s and my favorite TV show lately. Did you see the one where they made a few cars and trucks into boats and actually drove one across the English Channel! The only one that made it was an old Nissan pickup with a large outboard mounted to the tailgate. The stuff they do would never be allowed by an American company, too much liability.

I saw one where they came to the US and had to buy cars for $1000 and then drive from FL to New Orleans. They had to drive through the deep south and decorated the cars in all this "I love gays" type stuff. They almost got themselves killed.

I read somewhere they were coming up with an American version of the show. Doubt it could be as good as the original (for me, it's the hosts, not so much the cars that make the show), but looking forward to it nonetheless.

I've heard that, too.
The only good I can see of it is an increase in US events. My sister-in-law is a brand manager for Top Gear in Poland. Free tix, methinks.

You mean an American company wouldn't let them drive cars they bought for less than 100 pounds, without airbags, into a wall of Jersey barriers head-on? I don't see where that would be a problem.
