Fresh off their Grammy win the band brought its brand of infectious folk rock to Brooklyn and brought down the sold out house. The Mumford core of four were flanked by a 3 piece horn section and 3 piece string section. Spectacular lighting effects transformed a simple, sparse stage as they played a rousing 90 minute set.

The encore brought them back by us for a quiet acoustic set

The encore ended with the band being joined by the 2 opening acts (Ben Howard & Haim) for a spirited tribute to Levon Helm, covering....you guessed it..."The Weight"

Sweet. I like their stuff but don't own any of it. Didn't realize they were popular enough to sell out bigger arenas until the sold out the Boston Garden recently.

They were part of the jam that covered "The Weight" at the end of the Grammys. Them, Zac Brown, the girl from Alabama Shakes, some older female Motown singer, Elton John....
