This funky little area called Quoggy Jo in Maine is much more than a community area:

"ABOUT QUOGGY JO SKI CENTER:
Quoggy Jo is perfect for first time skiers and families with young children. A ski playground with animated figurines keeps children entertained while they learn to turn. At the summit of Quoggy Jo is a Biathlon Center with world-class Nordic skiing and a training facility for the US Biathlon Team. Quoggy Jo is under the direction of the Maine Winter Sports Center which also operates Black Mountain and Big Rock ski areas. "

I could almost build that in my back yard

Except I have no snow and forecast says Wednesday is supposed to be 58 degrees.

We got 9" at Bigrock on Friday/Friday night. Lonesome Pines in Ft Kent, Quoggy Jo in Presque Isle, and Bigrock in Mars Hill probably have SOME of the best conditions in the Northeast right now.
