Based on firsthand info measuring both at my place along the Mad River and yesterday working at the Bush I can safely say the snow totals in my area based on the two noaa graphics are totally inaccurate. The town of Warren's official report is 39" from the storm.

That map is total snow depth, from the start of the season...we had a foot of snow on the ground before the storm. The second map is snow depth from the storm on 2/15 which shows 20-25". Actually, snow on the 15th was less than a couple of inches, the storm was 95% on 2/14 and it was closer to 40". Not a big deal...it's all good, very good.

Snowfall on 2/15 would represent total snow fallen from 7 A.M. 2/14 to 7 A.M. 2/15, which is why it shows the higher amounts.
