BENNINGTON, Vt. -- Cell phone service should be getting better in southwestern Vermont.Verizon Wireless said it is almost ready to activate 12 cellular towers between Williamstown, Mass., and Mount Tabor.The towers will provide continuous digital service from Rutland County to Massachusetts.Verizon officials said the towers are now being tested.
