Just a short report from Brew Fest, 2008. The GF and I went with some of her friends....it was a good time. Many, many good brews. I was impressed that Trout River had a great showing...at least 8 brews I would say with many new lines, including the new Tripple Highwater (or something like that). Tasty. Their double brew was great as well.

I am a new fan of Unibroue's "La Fin Du Monde." Holy sh$%!

Biggest disappointment: Brooklyn Brewery. Their beers were :puke: I was a fan.

Switchback's new Porter was great as well.

It was hotter than a mofo....

More later....

Nice..did you have a designated driver???

Even better...was within walking distance.

This was a well-earned study break. 10 samples of beer for admission price, plus a nice glass to keep. A good time.

More info HERE.

My suggestion: order tix ahead of time like we did....good planning and had them in hand so we could skip BOTH long lines.

Nice...some of the Vermont micros are pretty potent. When are you taking the Bar exam? My brother in law went through all the Bar stuff last year..It's apparently a tough exam..
