Went up for a couple hours Monday. Spent most of the time in the Hitch bumps, but took a few runs up top as well. Mainly PP with some scratchy areas.
Today, the snow on the groomed stuff was great everywhere except Smith... seems they let the snowguns run on it last night and they covered all the nice natural snow with crappy manmade and it was very easy to be able to tell. Upper 10th hasn't been groomed since the storm. Usually you have to pull teeth to leave anything ungroomed for even a day after a storm at Wachusett, but quite the surprise. Most of it was skied off in between the multitudes of bumps, but definitely something new for Wachusett. Actually felt like a legitimate black today. Ropers was open with a VERY thin and rocky spot at the turn.
Next day out for me will be Burke on Tuesday. Back to Vermont I go.
