Conditions: Machined Groomed/Packed Powder
Trip Report: So yesterday I decided to blow off work in need of a much needed mental health day since work sucks. So after dropping off the little guy at daycare, I ventured out to Wachusett with the early morning retirement crew. Quite a different vibe then the night shift, which I do love. Since my last report on Sunday, I found that the had made more snow on 10th mountain and it skied really really nice. The first run of the morning was nice hard pack stuff where you could fly right down and ski onto the lift. As the sun start to hit the trails, they were softening up just to the point where it is primo... All in all, I was there from from 9-1, which was perfect to blow off the stress, grab a bite to eat and be home to catch up on some work emails and cook dinner for me and the wifey. If this is a preview of retirement for me in 20 years, I cannot wait!
