Resort: Wachusett Mountain
Conditions: Man made groomed with fresh mixed in.
Report: This morning I wasn't expecting to hit Wachusett, but turned into an excellent morning lapping Connifer and hitting Ralph a few times. Seeing I had to do a rocket launch at 12:30 with my kid's cubscout pack, I figured I would hit the mighty Wa for morning runs. To sweeten the deal, I burned one of two free vouchers - figuring better to do it today when I need to be elsewhere.
Started out in line for the first chair on the Polar Summit and cruising down some fine corduroy. That instantly turned into cookies the next couple of runs up, but with more traffic, conditions got better as the morning continued. Ralph's was good too, nice rolls, and the bottom pitch really ski'd out nicely. By 11:30 I was gone, and launch rockets in the snow with my kid!
