Date(s) Skied: Tuesday Night 12/2/08

Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett, MA

Conditions: LSGR, Dust on Crust, low 30s

Trip Report:

Decent night at Wachusett tonight. Summit was in good shape but Minuteman was quite scraped and thin. Snowmakers were blasting away at all of Minuteman including Look Mom when 7 PM rolled around.

Conifer: Edge to edge the entire way now. Also, Lower Balance Rock is open for day skiing. Very nice snow top to bottom tonight, especially after grooming.

10th: Not edge to edge (although what's there is wide enough for this time of year) but in good shape. The LSGR was very deep in some spots and I almost caught a tip a few times. Also some good kickers to get some air. Polar was still slow and ski on all night.

Challenger: Still only half covered, but good base depths. Conditions were more like dust on porcelain when I skied it. They took the box out at the top too.

Ralph's: Quite narrow now and even some bare spots at the top. Conditions weren't too great either. Really could use some loving from the snow guns right now. Minuteman was much faster tonight and ski on all night.

I'll be back whenever I feel like it, probably Friday.
