I'll be there Friday Morning. I'm putting my daughter in lessons and I'll spend some time running the Nastar course and see how the moguls are looking. Looks like we'll miss one another.

If it's running full speed, possibly. I've never paid much attention to the exact time up, but you can cruise down in minutes if you want. Zand probably knows how fast the lift runs.

I think the fastest ride I've had on it was around 4:30. However they seem to always run it slower after midnight. With the lines that last until about 3 or 4 AM, 8 runs an hour is impossible, probably more like 4 or 5. After 4, the place starts clearing out and then you can get 7 or 8 an hour.

Sounds like the storm is going to be hitting right in the middle of the event. I think I'm going to be heading out around 2 AM or so, the conditions should be sweet. I'll be on tele gear if anyone's around.

I won't be there. Hurt my knee last night. Don't know how bad yet.

Did anyone go? It looked like the worst crowds I've ever see for this event. The word must've gotten out about it over the last few years, and the event in the middle of a snowstorm really got people out there.

I set the alarm for 12AM, and then looked at the webcam, and decided to wait. The crowds were still miserable at 3AM, so I scrapped the idea. It's bad enough standing in one of Wachusett's industrial strength lift lines in the daytime, and playing human pool on Conifer, I didn't need it at the wee hours.

This even used to be my chance to have some nice runs on a relatively quiet hill. Not this year.
