Wachusett 3/5

After dealing with a few injuries this year I finally got back to Wachusett. I knew they were making snow at night and I was truly impressed with the conditions. Baby whales all over the place! Surfaces were dry powder and somewhat compacted in spots. It was an interesting surface. Summit trails were in great shape except for the entrance to Smith Walton and the spot right before the headwall to SW. Hats off to Wachusett, conditions were great and far better than I ever epected. And yes, I feel pretty good today, hoping to get up North sooner as opposed to later.

That was day 4, and a short visit to boot.

Can not imagine too many moguls were to be found and if there were any, they had to be rock hard!

Was there this morning and all moguls have been flattened. Otherwise trails were in good shape.

Yeah bluebird, the moguls were gonzo on Sunday. The conditions are certainly due to that new pump house.

Bumps are back up on 10th and will be skiing nice after tomorrow
