just back from wa tight for time thought I would throw up a couple quick comments for benefit of folks getting out of work and school and thinking of heading up tonight for fri night skiing.

doit...doit

folks this place remember was closed as recently as tues. I know I am sounding like a broken record(and I am starting to think the crowley's owe me some free skiing for all the props) but what they did to this hill is amazing....

ski'd dozens of high speed laps on conifer with 2 barking bear(epic) buddies skimangojazz and oldeasternskier(sky521 we missed unfortunately) and conditions were fantastic. no, zero frozen gran or ice to be found just wa pkd powder buffed to perfection. challenger, 2 runs look ma 1 run and ralph's 1 run all the same.....absolute butter. ralph's in particular was soft and fluffy.

in short nice...ski up and load no lines lifts cranking at full speed....

ski'd till about 12....and conditions when I left were still as I describe....

just nice....so stop whining get out there and have a nice night skiing.:flag:

Agree with hr. It was amazing, i couldn't believe how good it was. On Saturday they had to close the hill and stayed closed until Wednesday. It's not like they had 2-3 days of consistent sub 20's weather either.

magicians I say, magicians they are. 3 hours of nonstop skiing with (I repeat) no ice. What? No ice? What about the thaw/freeze cycle? I don't understand it. They make a lot of money at that place and must have the best grooming and snow making equipment available - and it shows. Not having a lot of acres to cover doesn't hurt either.

As sad as I am that I missed this opp...it was definitely very good that I was in the office today. Lots of bad days and I was there to fix.

Next time guys!
