Wanted: Trip Report for Jay Peak

Has anyone been to Jay Peak in the past week? How is it there? What should we expect?

I'm going up there for Friday-Sunday and wondering how the conditions are. Their website says they have something like 17 trails open.

Not much snow on the ground... no glades open or anything... woods need AT LEAST a solid (heavy) 12in of snow before they are safe. Idiots are going in the woods because they're so hungry for snow... but when you see dirt along 242 through the pass, you know it's not smart!

Conditions on groomers are OK... if you're in that sort of thing... I haven't manage to ride more then 8 runs since the beginning of the season. We need snow... Jay's been getting a few inches here and there... but we need a major snow storm to set things up!

Looking at more snow each day this week... hopefully, ropes will start to drop soon!
