Six of my boyz grandsons , sons , sons in law and BIL all here for Christmas week and Me hit Titus Mtn today for the first day of the season to check out things there under the NEW ownership .

Mtn had about 12 trails open with full side to side coverage , no scratchy spots and a woods full of snow . and a new Pisten Bully to go along with the other groomers

The base was firm with about 3-4 inches of fresh very edgeable and fast , We started at about 9:45 with 20 degreetemps a beautiful crisp blubird day , full sunny sky . The mtn was loaded with pent up demand from regional skiers and lots of Canadian skiers . The mtn didi a great job getting ready and conditions were fine

Once we reached the backside we avoided the main lift so it was ski on all day no waiting . We got in 23 runs and called it a day by 2:15 at which time it became overcast and due to the density the trails were getting scraped off but not bare spots just death cookies and icy patches . But damn all in all a fine first day for the posse .

Here's a pic of the posse with Titus Teddy enjoying a great day of skiing . Came home to fine dinner some choice desserts then wash Rinse repeat and all of us will head up again Wednesday

BTW That;s me in The Red Jacket and Helmet next to "Titus Mtn Teddy "
