Mother Nature is being sweet to the north country today! Storm moved in sooner than expected as I made my way down Route 49 to WV. By 11 o’clock five inches of fresh powder was on the slopes and more coming. White Caps to Old Tecumsah was the warm up run, followed by White Caps down The Chute. Nice POW, only half a foot but I will take it and celebrate it! Tippecanoe to Lower Tippy provided nice POW runs as well. A couple more on those trails and then to World Cup Run for the weekly locals race. Happy to say I improved my handicap by ten points.
Final runs included Upper Bobby’s to Psyched to Chute, with four more on White Caps/Chute. By then you could just lean back and fly. Great time at the valley today! Only bad part my boot liner split… not good news for POW tracks tomorrow!
