Seems to get little mention here. Did a search and not much content. Any reviews or comments would be very much appreciated. Considering a bus trip there. Would it be uber crowded on Sunday? Thanks.

You're past Presidents week, so crowds will start going down in general; though this weekend should still be busy.
I would like to hit Waterville in the spring sometime again. I remember the bumps on True Grit and Lower Bobby's being real killer as a kid.

I'm not a fan of Waterville Valley, if I'm that close to Cannon I keep driving. WV has spectacular scenery as it is surrounded by high peaks (for New England), some interesting trails, a HSQ and a really nice near summit lodge called the Schwendi Hut. The parking, sameness of the trails, the flat spot near the Schwendi Hut, and lack of sustained steeps keeps me driving a few minutes further north.
