Beautiful blue bird day. Temps never above 70°

Difficult hike due to a very steep approach but so worth it for the view.

This short loop always kicks my butt. Last time my knees were throbbing by the end. One of my hike mates suggested taking ibuprofen before, during and after which I’ve contemplated many times before. This time around my knees were completely happy, however, my toes took a beating as we did the loop in a clockwise route of the normal counter clockwise. So coming down put huge pressure on my toes. Ended up with a pretty bad blood blister on a small toe and two purple big toes.

The toe is fine. It was just a blood blister. What did you think it was?

I still don't have an ID to work in Vermont. Taking the Montpelier Police flag and throwing it on the ground hasn't helped . "You broke the flagpole!". The flag was held on the pole by a purple easter egg??? How can you break something made out of purple plastic? At least they didn't shoot me; if they had I wouldn't admit it here.

Yes, I need a Vermont Lic. or a non - driver. I could work under the table; butt I need to pound Social Security and T-shirt fund. When I left NH, I had a non-valid drivers. It was pulled for missing court in Laconia. Plus I take summers off once in a while. On ward and upward.

I need my NH I.D. # in order to get a VT ID.

The little toe is fine. Both big toe nails are black now. What’s amazing to me is that i get black toe nails all the time but they all heal completely only to be made black again. Stayed tuned for next year.
